Troubleshooting

Most commonly the question we receive is why is it saying my discord is not connected. If this happens try following these steps.

First, make sure you have agreed to the #join-our-community in Project Insomnia's discord. Make sure you press the "I agree" and wait a few minutes. If this does not work, continue to the steps below.

Find this on the #join-our-community page in the Project Insomnia Discord

1. Force close FiveM in your task manager (ctrl + alt + del), click task manager and then find FiveM and close it.

2. Open your discord, go to the settings wheel in the bottom left hand corner, and click it. This will show you a list on the left side and your profile settings on the right. Find the Authorized Apps and click it.

3. Depending on your activities and games, FiveM will be somewhere on your list, once you've found it click the deauthorize button. FiveM will be removed at this point. If you DONT see FiveM prior to this step, then continue to the next step.

4. Launch FiveM and open back to your discord, you should see a popup on your discord asking to authorize FiveM. Click authorize. Wait a few minutes and try to load into the server.
