The Hacker is Project Insomnia's newest class! With this class, you can hack electronics near you & are a vital piece in base raiding. With players putting up those pesky base defenses, a hacker is your teams best friend.
Hackers also have the ability to use Tablets found around the map and once you have found the password, you can access different items. Please know, that an understanding of Linux is needed to utilize these to their fullest potential.
Tier 1 - Ability to hack various objects around the map, vending machines for bottlecaps and food/water, electrical boxes to make them electrocute zombies/players etc.. Vehicles are hackable as well *keep in mind that it WILL enable PvP in all areas of the map, if stealing a vehicle*
Tier 2 - Ability to hack everything stated in Level 1, as well as Gates, Garage doors, and ATMS
How to use your ability:
Press "H" to start the ability, you'll see a pink current leaving your character. The items you can hack are then highlighted in a blue outline. (As seen below↓)
Press "E" to activate the hack. You will see a status bar for your hack.
