Everything you have in your pockets will now drop into a dufflebag when you are killed. When this happens, you can run back to the same location and pick up the duffle bag and run away (if there is a horde), or you can loot it right there, or someone else can come and grab it and take off.
Your loot will look like this when you die ↓
Walk up to the bag and third eye (L ALT) and it will show you an option to either pick up or search. Click & drag your items back into your inventory and once everything has been removed, the bag will disappear. Press your "X" key to drop the bag on the ground.
Each death bag has a 30 minute timer. This means if you do not make it back to the bag in that time frame, your bag will disappear & your items will be lost forever. There are other circumstances that could speed up your bag deterioriation, like zombies. If a zombie is running against it, the damage will cause the bag to disappear. Other players are also able to come by, pick up your bag and run off. This is allowed across the ENTIRE map. Just because you died in PvE doesnt mean someone cant or wont steal your stuff.
