Vehicle Controls

Locking your car:

Press J (default key) to lock your car.

Leaving your vehicle out and unlocked will allow other players to steal it from wherever you left it. Remember, if a player has lock picks they can get into your car regardless of it being locked or not.

Driving your car On keyboard & Mouse:

• W - forward

• A - left turn

• S - reverse

• D - right turn

• E - horn (on police cars it is the sirens)

• H - headlights

• J - Locking and unlocking

• B - Seatbelt (if you see the word seatbelt, your seatbelt is not on)

• Y - Engine on / off

If these keybinds do not work for you, press ESC → settings → Keybinds → FiveM → & scroll through the list until you find the actions you are looking for. You can rebind them to what you would like.

If you want to transfer ownership of your vehicle you must type /givekeys ID The person you transferred it too, can ensure this worked by driving to the parking spots in the safezone and placing the car or "save vehicle" in the spot. It will then put the car into their garage.
