Radiation Zones

Radiation Zones or Fall Out Zones, are contaminated areas that require you to have a gas mask. These are looted as everything else is ( see Looting ). The higher rarity your mask is, and the higher the durability bar is, the longer time you can spend in the radiation zone. If you are not wearing the proper mask, prepare to die quickly, it will also make it really hard to get your items back.

What areas are fall out zones? Open your map & look for the yellow circles marked with skulls. (See below ↓)

The radiation zones contain boss zombies, these zombies have high tier loot on them. The bosses have a chance of containing backpacks (see Backpacks). They also have better loot inside the zones. There are 3 radiation zones across the map. One in north paleto, one in south docks and the last can be found north easternly in sandy shores.
