# Base Building

### **Do not build bases blocking any major roadways or gas stations. If this is found, your base will be destroyed to create a path through without warning.**

Have a full safezone stash and need somewhere to call home? Lets get you started on building your base.

You can set a code on your doors and windows by third eyeing those pieces. Once you see the settings, click the keypad. Enter a code. This does not make you need a code, however, anyone outside of you, will need a code. Even your crew members. Keep in mind that putting the wrong code in will result in you being locked out of it for an undetermined amount of time.

**Bases will deterioriate over the span of a week. This is a natural decay rate. Recommended maintenance is every 2-3 days. Walk up to your base flag, Third eye it and choose repair. This repairs your entire base at one time.**
