Defense

There are multiple ways to defend your base! We now have a grenade turret, MG turret, electric fences and spike walls! Some of these need a generator close to be used, so make sure you have everything! To find out how to fill a generator head over to the Generator & Recyclerpage to find your instructions! See how to videos for the electric fences / turret at the bottom of this page.

Defenses

-> Spike Walls Walking up close to these will result in you being poked. They're great for blocking entrances or alleyways you dont want someone getting too. (Just remember, a jump suit can jump over)

-> Electric Fences Once placed, you need to ensure a generator is near. Once you turn your generator on (WITH GAS IN IT), your fences go from basic, to electric.

-> Grenade Turret In order to use the Grenade Turret, Follow these steps: 1. Craft the grenades (engineers are the only ones who can craft explosives) 2. Craft and place the turret stand. 3. [right click + use ] the Grenade turret and it will place it on the stand. Press Enter to completely place it. 4. third eye the turret and add Grenades to it. [see step 1] Necessary Action - ensure you have a generator placed near the turrets with fuel in it - if you do not the turrets will not work. 5. Once the grenades are in, and your generator has fuel, turn both the generator and turret on. Now it's ready to defend! Just know, it shoots zombies as well as players, so keep an eye on that ammo and fuel.

-> Machine Gun Turrets In order to use the MG Turret Follow these steps: 1. Craft and place the turret stand. 2. [right click + use ] the MG turret and it will place it on the stand. Press Enter to completely place it. 3. third eye the turret and add "MG Turret Bullets" to it. (You need to craft these) Necessary Action - ensure you have a generator placed near the turrets with fuel in it - if you do not the turrets will not work. 4. Once you have placed the ammo in, and the generator is full, turn both the generator and the turret on Now it's ready to defend! Just know, it shoots zombies as well as players, so keep an eye on that ammo and fuel.
